This Cancellation Policy explains how cancellation and change requests are handled for travel planning, accommodation enquiries, safari-related assistance and other services arranged through Destination Tourism.
Important: Cancellation fees, deadlines and refund eligibility can vary by booking and by service provider. Your specific written quote, booking confirmation and the applicable provider's terms take precedence where they set out different or more specific conditions. This page does not promise a particular refund amount or timeline.
1. Enquiries and Unconfirmed Requests
Submitting an enquiry through this website is a request for information or a quote; it is not, by itself, a confirmed reservation or paid booking. The website enquiry form states that no payment is requested when you submit an enquiry.
If no booking has been confirmed and no payment or non-refundable charge has been incurred, contact us to withdraw your enquiry. If any third-party service has already been reserved or charged, the applicable booking terms may still apply.
2. How to Request a Cancellation
- Send your cancellation request to info@destinationtourism.in .
- Include the lead traveller's name, travel dates, booking or enquiry reference (if available), and the service you want to cancel.
- Where possible, submit your request in writing and retain a copy for your records.
- A request is not considered confirmed as cancelled until we or the relevant service provider acknowledge it in writing. Provider cut-off times and local operating hours may affect when a request is processed.
3. Cancellation Charges and Refund Eligibility
Any applicable cancellation fee, refund amount or non-refundable component depends on the confirmed booking terms and the rules of the hotel, resort, transport operator, safari/permit provider or other supplier involved. These terms may depend on how close the cancellation is to the travel date, whether a service has already been delivered, and whether the supplier has already charged or committed costs.
Please review the cancellation conditions provided with your quote or confirmation before making payment. If the terms are not clear, ask us to clarify them in writing before confirming the booking.
We will communicate any refund amount confirmed by the relevant provider and any applicable agency or processing charges, where relevant. We cannot guarantee a refund that the relevant provider or authority does not approve under its rules.
4. Safari Permits and Government-Controlled Services
Park entry permits, safari slots, vehicle allocations, routes and access are controlled by the relevant authorities and are subject to official availability and rules. Such services may have separate cancellation, amendment or non-refund conditions. Any official permit terms communicated for your booking will apply.
Destination Tourism is an independent private travel agency, not the official booking office or representative of the Rajasthan Forest Department, the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA), or the government administration of Sariska Tiger Reserve.
5. Changes to Dates, Guests or Itinerary
Requests to change travel dates, guest numbers, accommodation, transport or itinerary should be sent to us as early as possible. Changes are subject to availability and supplier approval, and may result in revised prices, additional charges or cancellation of the original arrangement under the provider's terms.
Do not assume that a requested change has been accepted until written confirmation has been provided.
6. No-Shows, Late Arrival and Unused Services
If a traveller does not arrive, arrives after a provider's cut-off time, misses a scheduled service or chooses not to use part of a confirmed itinerary, the supplier's no-show and unused-service rules may apply. Refunds or rescheduling are not guaranteed and depend on the applicable booking conditions.
7. Cancellation by a Service Provider or Due to Disruption
If a hotel, transport operator, safari provider or other supplier cancels or changes a service, we will share relevant information received and, where available, assist with communicating options such as rescheduling or a refund request. The available remedy depends on the supplier's terms and the reason for the disruption.
Weather, safety instructions, wildlife-protection measures, official restrictions, road conditions and other events outside our control may affect travel plans. Any refund or alternative arrangement will be subject to the applicable provider or authority rules and the specific booking confirmation.
8. Refund Processing
Where a refund is approved, the party that received the payment or the relevant payment provider may need to process it. Processing times can vary by supplier, bank and payment method. We will share the information available to us, but cannot guarantee the timing of processing by a third party.
If you believe a refund is due, contact us with your booking reference and payment details sufficient to identify the transaction. Please do not email full card numbers, passwords or other sensitive payment credentials.
